Representatives of the Ministries of Agriculture and Water Resources, as well as Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan have taken part in a webinar with participation of Israel’s startup company AgriTask, organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel.

Innovative solutions in agriculture were presented at the webinar. Bilateral cooperation issues were discussed.

At the event, the Israeli side presented a proposal for the implementation of a platform for remote monitoring and management of agriculture at the national level. It was noted that with the help of this platform it is possible to collect information in real time from numerous farms, integrate external data sources (satellite and weather stations), as well as process and visualize them.

According to the company representatives, the platform helps users to prevent problems and threats to crops, ensure safety for crops, as well as increase yields and efficiency of agricultural work and achieve cost savings.

Following the event, an agreement was reached to develop a joint pilot project using intelligent technologies, services and knowledge of Agritask to ensure the digitalization of Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector.
