TASHKENT, February 7. /“Dunyo” IA/. Last year, the import of services to Uzbekistan amounted to newscat="economy",736.8 million, or 6.8 percent of its total volume, and increased by 42.2 percent compared to 2020, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the main share of imported services is traveling (tourism – 51.1 percent), transport (11.6 percent), other business services (10.5 percent), telecommunications, computer and information services (8 percent).
Other services accounted for 18.9 percent of total imports of services, including a high share of construction services (7 percent), fees for the use of intellectual property (4.6 percent), maintenance and repair services (3.4 percent) and others.
In 2021, the import of goods and services in Uzbekistan reached ,546.1 million.
