VIENNA, December 11. /“Dunyo” IA/. On December 9, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Hungary with a residence in Vienna, together with the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Karakalpakstan and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI), has organized an online presentation of Karakalpakstan’s investment potential for Hungarian businesspeople, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
Ambassador of Uzbekistan Abat Fayzullayev noted the growing interest of bоth Uzbekistan and Hungarian companies in further development of bilateral relations in trade and economic sphere.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Uzbekistan Peter Santo highly appreciated the large-scale reforms and transformations being carried out in Uzbekistan, including in Karakalpakstan. According to him, he has been to Karakalpakstan and the Aral Sea regions and had the opportunity to become acquainted with the investment potential of the region. In this regard, he called on Hungarian companies to intensify their activities in Karakalpakstan for the implementation of joint projects.
The parties expressed their conviction that this event will create good preconditions for establishing closer ties between businesspeople of Hungary and partners from Karakalpakstan.
