Heimtextil 2019 International Trade Fair for Home and Contract Textiles continues in Frankfurt am Main. Experts of Uzbekistan’s textile industry are taking part in it along with representatives from 135 countries.
Products of “Uztuqimachiliksanoat” (Uzbekistan Textile Industry) Association enterprises, in particular Bahmal Group of companies led by Director Bakhodir Akhmedov, are also presented at the fair.
– We are attending this fair for the second time, – says B.Akhmedov. – After last year’s fair, we exported products of almost a million USD to Poland, the Czech Republic, and the Baltic countries. This year we intend to surpass these results. Within the framework of the event we are holding negotiations with representatives of Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Croatia. It should be emphasized that European countries are showing great interest in textile products produced in Uzbekistan. The trade fair is important not only for establishing cooperation with foreign partners, but also for studying the experience of famous designers, to enter the world market, to put into practice their recommendations on design and applying colors.
As a result of such events, products of Uzbekistan are becoming more popular and can compete with products of China, Turkey, India, and Pakistan. Plans for the future – to take a place in the European market.
Bahmal Group of companies is one of the largest enterprises on production of textile products. The production capacity of printed and dyed fabrics of an enterprise that started operations in 2005 is 53 million meters per year. However, these companies also produce bed linen, table towels, handkerchiefs, shirts. The company has ISO 9001 certification. Its products are exported to Russia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Poland, Ukraine and Lithuania.
