Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia Ravshan Usmanov held talks with Sohpian Ariffin, CEO of Hadid Engineering.
In January 2019, the company established Hadid Kazanakh LLC in Tashkent city for implementation of investment projects in Uzbekistan, including in cooperation with Malaysia’s largest Internet provider, TM Global, in provision of telecommunications services.
Implementation of further steps of a pilot investment project for the introduction of high-speed wireless Internet in Khiva was discussed at the meeting.
Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to hold on September 16, 2019 the official opening ceremony of the company’s representative office in Khorezm region. It is planned that the representative office will participate in implementation of the investment project on introduction of high-speed Internet in Khiva city, as well as similar projects in other regions of Uzbekistan by attracting direct investments of Hadid Engineering.
