Yesterday, Association of Electrotechnical Enterprises of Uzbekistan (Uzeltechsanoat) had the honor to host Mr. Botir Gafurov, Managing Director of Juru Energy and Mr. Shi Hang, Chief Representative – CIS region Overseas Business Development at SEPCO III Electric Power Construction Corporation, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
Both companies are engaged in the energy sector, mainly in the construction of renewable energy power plants.
SEPCO III Electric Power Construction Corporation has recently become a general contractor in renewable energy projects of UAE company Masdar in Uzbekistan.
Foreign counterparts have highly evaluated the measures of Uzbekistan Government regarding the construction of renewable energy power plants and noted that without sufficient energy supplies the country will not succeed in its goals. In this regard, the Government’s plan for the construction of renewable energy power plants of 1.5 GW capacity would wide open the perspectives of cooperation between the two companies.
During talks, the issues of possible cooperation between member-companies of Uzeltechsanoat and SEPCO III Electric Power Construction Corporation within the framework of energy projects of Masdar have been discussed in detail. Both parties have agreed upon the creation of mechanisms for organizing joint work.
