TASHKENT, February 18. /“Dunyo” IA/. Today, Dubai will organize Made in Uzbekistan Business Mission at Expo 2020, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
It is known that 50 leading companies are taking part in the business mission, which will represent the textile, leather and footwear, food and pharmaceutical industries of Uzbekistan’s economy.
The event is organized by the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade (MIFT) Uzbekistan with the assistance of the MIFT representative office in the United Arab Emirates.
It is aimed at promoting domestic products to the UAE market, assisting in the establishment and development of trade relations between Uzbekistan and foreign companies, the selection of foreign partners, the search for new cooperation platforms.
Exporting enterprises of Uzbekistan will present goods under a single national brand “Made in Uzbekistan” products manufactured according to international standards. Uzbekistan – UAE business forum is also planned to be held at the Dubai Exhibition Center, where presentations of participants of the business mission and bilateral negotiations between representatives of the business circles of Uzbekistan and the UAE in B2B format will be held. It is expected that the business circles of the two countries will contribute to the intensification of trade-economic relations.
It is planned that following the event, Uzbekistan and the UAE companies will establish long-term business relations to sign specific documents on cooperation.
