TASHKENT, September 21. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received his Advisor on Economic Development, Effective Public Administration and International Cooperation, Suma Chakrabarti, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

Power unit No. 4 of the Beloyarsk NPP with the BN-800 fast reactor has been connected to the grid and resumed operations upon completion of the scheduled maintenance. After the recent refueling, the BN-800 core, for the first time in history, has been fully loaded with uranium-plutonium MOX fuel.

In the course of a joint project implemented by “Tadbirkor Ayol” Association of Businesswomen of Uzbekistan together with several organizations within the framework of the Trade Promotion in Uzbekistan Project of the United Nations Development Programme, it is planned to develop entrepreneurship by training teachers and students.

As part of the visit of the Government delegation of Uzbekistan to Russia, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjayev met with the leadership of UCC Uralchem OJSC.

Environmental remediation works are to commence at two former uranium mining sites in Uzbekistan following the signing of a grant agreement between the Environmental Remediation Account for Central Asia (ERA) and the government of the region’s most populous country, EBRD reports.

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjayev visited the training and IT Center of Uzbekistan Industrial and Construction Bank (SQB) in Tashkent, where he got acquainted with the current state and plans for the development of a financial institution.

At the briefing held at the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Deputy Head of the Department of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade Dadakhon Jumaniyazov informed about the results of the meeting of the President of the country with entrepreneurs.

As of August 1, 2022, more than 11 thousand companies with foreign capital have been established in Uzbekistan. Their total turnover is 90.2 trillion UZS, the State Tax Committee reports.
