Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan met with the OIC Secretary General

RIYADH, July 28. /“Dunyo” IA/. Uzbekistan delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Furkat Sidikov met with OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha, in Saudi Arabia, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

During the conversation, the Secretary-General highly appreciated the important role of Uzbekistan in implementing various initiatives within the OIC and the importance of Uzbekistan in maintaining peace, stability and cooperation in the Central Asian region.

The Secretary-General was informed about constitutional reforms, complex amendments and additions being implemented in the country.

Hissein Brahim Taha highly appreciated the essence and significance of the constitutional reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan and noted that they are an important step in the process aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of the country and improving the welfare of the population.

The Secretary-General noted that reforms in this direction would ensure the well-being of not only Uzbekistan, but also the people of the entire region in the near future.
