Virtual master class on the national dance

The project is aimed at preserving and promoting the national dance.

 

Last December, UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage inscribed Khorezm dance on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. At the same time, Lazgi International Dance Festival is planned to be held in Khorezm starting 2022, traditionally every two years in the second half of September.

 

The first international virtual class was held with participation of leading masters of art, professional dancers of Lazgi ensemble at the State Philharmonic Society of Uzbekistan. It was attended by local and foreign art lovers. The State Philharmonic Society of Uzbekistan plans to hold this master class on a permanent basis.
