Uzbekistan National Film Commission officially became a member of Asian Film Commissions Network. The event took place during the XXIV Busan International Film Festival in South Korea.
This year, Uzbekistan national stand was presented for the first time at Asian Film Market. It was organized with the support of the State Committee for Tourism Development, Uzbekkino National Agency, Youth Union and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in South Korea.
National stand clearly demonstrated the country's potential for international film projects. In particular, guests and participants of Busan Film Festival got acquainted with locations for shooting films in Uzbekistan, as well as learnt more about the rebate system.
The ceremony of Uzbekistan's accession to the Asian Film Commissions Network was held at the annual General Assembly of the organization.
