Uzbekistan Arts Academy hosted a press conference dedicated to the upcoming International Symposium on the occasion of the 565th anniversary of Kamoliddin Behzod’s birth.
It was noted that in the process of large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, much attention is paid to improving the spirituality of people, development of national fine and applied arts based on rich historical and cultural values.
The issue of in-depth study of life and spiritual heritage of famous scientists, thinkers, artists and representatives of art, as well as familiarizing people, especially the younger generation, and world community with their unique works has been raised to the level of state policy.
As is known, Kamoliddin Behzod’s works are stored now in museums in a number of foreign countries, such as the United States, France, Germany, Egypt, Iran and Russia. One of the important tasks is to collect copies of works of great artist and his followers in the Museum's collection.
Various exhibitions will also be held within the framework of the International Symposium, which will be held in Tashkent on October 14-16, 2020.
