Tolerance Week kicks off in Uzbekistan on November 15-21

TASHKENT, November 15. /“Dunyo” IA/. Uzbekistan hosts Tolerance Week, which will last until November 21, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

Uzbekistan hosts Tolerance Week according to the decree of the Head of the state of November 15, 2019 “On the approval of the Concept of state policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in interethnic relations”, on the occasion of November 16 – International Day for Tolerance.

The goal of the Week is to strengthen the atmosphere of friendship and tolerance in society, educate young people in the spirit of love and devotion to the country, respect for national and universal values, and develop friendly relations with foreign countries.

Cultural and educational events will be held under the slogan “Uzbekistan – Tolerant Land” within the framework of the week.

They are organized in cooperation with the ministries of foreign affairs, justice, culture, public education, the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, the Writers’ Union, the Committee for Religious Affairs, the Agency for Youth Affairs and other organizations, ministries and agencies.
