Drawings of Uzbekistan children at the international exhibition in Japan

TOKYO, January 25. /“Dunyo” IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan, together with the International Sumi-E (Ink Drawing) Association, presented drawings by Uzbekistan children at the international exhibition Art Beyond Boundaries 2021, in Tokyo National Art Center, which will run until February 1, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by representatives of the cultural and humanitarian circles, the scientific community, as well as the embassies of Central Asian countries accredited in Tokyo.

According to the organizers, the largest number of children’s drawings came from Uzbekistan (71 works), over 40 of them were received by e-mail. Children depicted the nature of their native land, family and people, historical and cultural attractions of the country. These drawings are also included in the Art Beyond Boundaries 2021 album.

The President of the International Sumi-E Association Tohun Kobayashi highly appreciated the active participation of young artists from Uzbekistan, whose works are imbued with a sincere and touching love for the Motherland.

He also positively assessed the prospects of cooperation with Uzbekistan in culture and art and expressed his intention to visit the country in the future. He expressed the hope that familiarizing the visitors of the exhibition with the art of Uzbek children will increase their interest in culture and friendly contacts with Uzbekistan.
