The national anthems of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Karakalpakstan were played.
Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orinbayev congratulated the participants and the country's entire population on the 31st Anniversary of Independence.
It was noted that on the initiative of the Head of the state, large-scale construction and landscaping activities are being carried out in the country, including in the Aral Sea region.
Each visit of the Head of the state to the Aral Sea region is met with special joy by the population. During the President's recent visit to the Republic of Karakalpakstan, meetings were held with deputies and activists, during which the Head of the state set new tasks for them. In particular, tasks were set to allocate one-time assistance for 600 thousand UZS to families included in the register of social protection, to restore from September 15 a 50 percent discount on the purchase of railway and air tickets for pensioners and persons with disabilities, as well as to leave excess tax revenues for value-added until 2025 in the budget of Karakalpakstan.
The words of the President that work will continue in supporting the people of Karakalpakstan give confidence in the future to every Karakalpakstan citizen.
Songs glorifying friendship, brotherhood and peace of peoples were performed by artists of Karakalpakstan.
The holiday continues in all cities and districts of the Aral Sea region.
