Ayub Shakhobiddinov’s “Colorless Dreams” film is included in the main competition program of the XVI Kazan International Muslim Film Festival and the International Festival of Modern Art and Spiritual Films FRESCO.
Kazan International Muslim Film Festival is held in the capital city of the Republic of Tatarstan since 2005. The festival was initiated by the Council of Muftis of Russia, Federal agency for culture and cinematography of Russia, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
FRESCO festival is an annual event which is a great opportunity for the reassessment of the spiritual and cultural heritage, for cultural dialogue with people of other countries, for self-knowledge and raising the national consciousness in this context. The realization of festival’s idea may become one of the visiting-cards of Armenia.
The film “Colorless Dreams” features several important aspects of changing the human’s nature: behind the prison walls, in society and in the family. The main character of the film, Kashmira returns to her motherland after many years of imprisonment and she must gradually prove that she deserves to stay in family, in society, and she has all rights for it. At the end, owing to her determination, she will be able to become a strong personality.
