Asaka Bank is implementing 18 projects, the implementation of which will serve to increase the welfare of the local population in Sardoba, Mirzaabad and Oqoltin districts.
One of such projects is a lemon-growing cluster in Mirzaabad district. In February this year, a resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures for further development of lemon growing” was published.
Based on the tasks identified in the resolution, a project aimed at increasing the volume of cultivation of high-quality and export-oriented lemons based on advanced resource-saving technologies will provide employment of 300 people.
The total cost of the project is more than .5 million, million of which is a bank loan. Due to the loan provided by Asaka Bank, modern equipment will be purchased to normalize the temperature of the greenhouse. Strawberries will be planted in the greenhouse along with lemons.
According to the initiators of the project, 40-45 tons of strawberries and 55-60 tons of lemons will be obtained from each hectare.
