Asaka Bank preserves its financial strength rating

Moody’s Investors Service has affirmed the following ratings to Asaka Bank on a global scale:

– Long-term local currency rating – B1, Outlook Stable
– Long-term foreign currency rating – B2, Outlook Stable
– Support rating level – B3
– Baseline credit assessment – B3
 
All ratings have a stable outlook.
 
According to the Moody’s, the ratings of Asaka Bank, even during the pandemic, reflect the bank’s strong position in Uzbekistan market, especially in the segment of legal entities, its fairly wide geographical coverage within the country, a healthy income structure that allows to receive stable income and a good level capitalization, as well as stable business relationship with a number of international financial institutions.
 
This is the highest rating of all credit ratings assigned by international rating agencies to commercial banks of Uzbekistan at the moment.
 
The bank’s leadership assures that in the future, the bank’s priority will be to ensure the safety of clients’ funds, customer-oriented banking services products, as well as provision of high-quality and prompt settlement operations based on digital solutions.
