/“Dunyo” IA/. An extraordinary plenum of the Central Council of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan was held, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
It was attended by members of the Central Council of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, members of the party's faction in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, heads of regional party organizations, party activists, and media representatives.
The participants considered issues related to the participation of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan in the snap elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the submission to the party congress of a proposal to nominate a candidate for the post of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan.
Organizational measures related to holding conferences of regional party organizations on the issue of convening a party congress, approving the agenda, and electing delegates were discussed.
Current tasks to ensure worthy participation of the party in the elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, based on the ideas of the party and the interests of its electorate, the use of broad rights and opportunities created for parties were considered.
At the same time, the participants of the plenum made several proposals in the organizational and ideological directions to ensure the party's effective conduction of the election campaign.
At the plenum, a decision was made to nominate Abdushukur Khudoykulovich Khamzayev, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Central Council of the Party, as a candidate for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the upcoming congress of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan.
