Taking into account the current situation, trade fairs with products at affordable prices are being organized to create even more convenience for the population.
“3,369 representatives of different nationalities live in our mahalla”, says Ugilkhan Durimbetova, Chairman of the citizens’ assembly of Qurilishchi mahalla in Nukus. – People are happy with today’s fair. The prices are much lower than the market ones. For example, sunflower oil costs 24,000 UZS in the market, 20,000 UZS at the fair, 17,000 UZS for sugar, and 12,000 UZS here. The cost of other foodstuffs is also relatively low.
“We are grateful for the creation of such amenities for citizens”, said veteran Kengesbay Aliyev. – The opening of fairs increases the purchasing power of the population.
It should be noted that large-scale propaganda work is being carried out among the residents of the region to comply with the introduced state of emergency, and maintain peace and tranquility.
