ACD Virtual Conference participants support Uzbekistan’s proposal

TASHKENT, January 21. /Dunyo IA/. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan attended the First Virtual Conference of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue member countries (ACD), held on 20 January 2021, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu welcomed the event participants. He highly appreciated the state and prospects of relations in various spheres between the member countries, emphasizing the friendly nature of partnership and priority of economic relations.

CCI and ACD member countries representatives made reports on the economic situations in Asia. Uzbekistan CCI Chairman Adham Ikramov noted that the conference is important for solving problems that confront the organizations and exchange views on new areas of business partnership between the countries and joint efforts to improve the efficiency of practical cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry. 

The Uzbek side voiced proposals on establishing cooperation in e-commerce by integrating existing electronic platforms of Asian countries, attracting young people to entrepreneurship, developing cooperation between international commercial arbitration centers of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, creating a system for exchanging experience between artisans of Asian countries. 

The proposals were supported by the majority of participants of the event.

Following the event, the parties expressed a common opinion that the implementation of proposals and initiatives announced at the conference will contribute to the development and strengthening of cooperation between businesspeople of Asian countries and further promotion of implementation of joint initiatives.
