“Dunyo” IA/. Today, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation from the city of Saint Petersburg led by Governor Alexander Beglov, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the press service of the head of our state, the issues of further expansion of practical cooperation at the level of the two countries’ regions were considered.
A particular attention is paid to the development of modern trade, commercial and logistics infrastructure in order to increase the mutual trade, support, and promotion of the leading enterprises' industrial cooperation projects, and deepen the cooperation in the fields of housing, communal services, and urban planning.
The extension of an active cultural and humanitarian exchange was supported.
An agreement was reached on the preparation and adoption of a «road map» for mutually beneficial cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and Saint Petersburg.
