On April 4, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who arrived in Moscow to attend the meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers, met with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.
On April 4, a videoconference session under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was held on performance in the realization of forecast revenues in the State budget and exports, as well as securing strict implementation of forecast indicators for the first half of 2019.
Specific issues of implementation of previous agreements, as well as priority areas for attracting foreign investors, creating necessary conditions for them, including relevant technical requirements of infrastructure were discussed at the meeting through Fergana – Tashkent – Muscat – Riga – Seoul videoconference with the participation of heads of khokimiyats of Fergana region and districts.

The 6th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was held in Termez under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda. It was attended by representatives of ministries and agencies of the two countries.

On April 2, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Nematov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan Huseyn Guliyev.
