TASHKENT, February 22. /“Dunyo” IA/. Uzbekistan delegation led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Furkat Sidikov will visit Qatar on 23-25 February to attend the second round of inter-MFA political consultations, as well as to hold meetings and talks with officials and businesspeople, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the Uzbekistan MFA, the program of the visit includes bilateral meetings with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in Parliament, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Qatar Fund for Development and Investment Authority, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as talks with heads of leading banks and companies.
It is planned to discuss the state and prospects of cooperation, proposals for enhancing political dialogue and inter-parliamentary ties, strengthening trade, economic, investment, financial and technical cooperation, and intensifying cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
