On September 24-30, 2018, negotiations between the working groups of the governmental delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on the issues of delimitation and demarcation of Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan State border were held in Kyzyl-Kiya, Kyrgyzstan.
At the meeting, the parties considered the results of field surveys, as well as continued the description of the remaining areas of the joint border.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, following the negotiations, a Protocol was signed.
The meeting was held in a traditional spirit of friendship, good neighborliness and constructive dialogue.
