The Second International Economics Olympiad among schoolchildren has kicked off in Russia’s Saint Petersburg.
Schoolchildren at the age from 16 to 18 from Austria, Brazil, Kazakhstan, India, Spain, New Zealand, South Korea, the United States and Uzbekistan will compete with each other (no more than five people in one team) at the Olympiad.
Participants of the Olympiad will compete in three stages – financial literacy, economics and business. In the first and second stages, students will be assessed individually. In the last stage, they will compete in a team.
