Yesterday, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the United Arab Emirates led by the Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Al Marri, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the Third Tashkent International Investment Forum, reports "Dunyo" IA correspondent.
According to the press service of the head of our state, at the beginning of the meeting, the Minister conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the President of Uzbekistan from the UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Al Nahyan, Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum, Vice President Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khalid Al Nahyan.
Current issues of supporting and promoting joint trade, economic and investment cooperation projects were discussed.
The dynamic development of partnerships in priority sectors of the economy was noted with satisfaction. The volume of trade turnover, the number of joint ventures, and the frequency of direct flights are growing. The portfolio of projects involving leading companies from the two countries reached billion.
Particular attention was paid to accelerating the implementation of large projects in energy, transport, logistics, agriculture, water supply, and others.
