It was attended by the Minister of Preschool Education Agrippina Shin, Rector of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan Sherzodkhon Kudratkhodja, Director of the Division for Policies and Lifelong Learning Systems at UNESCO Borhene Chakroun and Education Programme Specialist and Global Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) lead at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris Rokhaya Diawara.
It was noted that the Second UNESCO World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education will be held on November 14 this year in the city of Tashkent. The event will allow demonstrating the achievements and success of Uzbekistan in this area, models for the development of preschool education and exchange experience.
Information about the Conference was provided. It was noted that the purpose of this conference is to improve the new political views of member countries that accept the upbringing and education of young children as an important part of the strategies for building an enlightened society and sustainable development, as well as increasing investment.
It is planned to adopt the Tashkent Program of Action on the upbringing and education of young children.
