TASHKENT, December 11. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov has received the Ambassador of Romania to Uzbekistan Romeo Stanciu, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the parties discussed the state and prospects of Uzbekistan – Romanian cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.
Special attention at the meeting was paid to the issues of interaction between the two countries within the EU.
It was noted that Uzbekistan attaches particular importance to the development of trade, economic and investment ties with Romania, including the expansion of mutual trade by organizing supplies of a wide range of products to the Romanian market.
Following the talks, the minister highly appreciated the personal contribution of the Ambassador to strengthening and development of Uzbekistan – Romanian collaboration.
Romeo Stanciu, in turn, thanked for the constant support of his activities in Uzbekistan as the head of the diplomatic mission of Romania.
