The event will be organized in cooperation with the Malaysian World Sufi Center, the Bukhara Region Hokimiyat, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and other agencies of Uzbekistan.
The primary purpose of this festival is to recognize the merits of the great scientists of Uzbekistan in the development of Islam and world civilization, as well as visit holy places, perform religious rites and get acquainted with the main attractions of pilgrimage tourism in the country.
More than 200 muftis, imams and followers of the Sufi tariqa Naqshbandi from all over the world, in particular from Malaysia, Indonesia, France, Türkiye, Switzerland, Portugal, Australia, Russia and other countries are expected to attend this event.
As part of the festival, pilgrimage tours to the shrines of the cities of Bukhara, Samarkand and Tashkent are planned.
Religious figures will get acquainted with the Uthman Quran, which is the most ancient of the manuscript versions of the Holy Scriptures, in Tashkent.
