The center for public opinion studies
“Ijtimoiy fikr” conducted a survey on the outgoing year, in all regions
of our country. It was conducted among people living in the cities and
villages, representatives of various ethnic and social groups,
confessions, professions.
As the survey showed, 2017 turned out to
be prosperous, saturated with positive changes in personal and family
life for the absolute majority of our citizens (90,5 percent). People of
Uzbekistan are in high spirits on the eve of the New Year. Citizens
associate this with the improvement of living conditions, confidence in
the future and public stability in the country.
The survey showed that 83 percent of
citizens consider themselves happy. Peace in the country, prosperity,
love and health in a family, the process of renewal taking place in our
society and inspiring confidence in the future of the Motherland,
family, children, grandchildren make them happy.
As the survey results showed, the
majority of our compatriots are quite satisfied with how their life is
developing. More than 80 percent of them expressed their confidence that
the coming 2018 – the Year of supporting active entrepreneurship,
innovative ideas and technologies, will become even more successful, and
the goals will be achieved.
Positive changes in the life of the
country, which occurred in 2017, according to citizens, are primarily
related to the activities of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat
Mirziyoyev, successful economic and political reforms initiated by the
Head of the state. After all, this makes it possible to create a strong
system of state administration capable of quickly responding to modern
challenges and threats, ensuring realization of the interests of every
citizen and society.
According to the survey participants, an
important achievement of the outgoing year is the introduction of a
system for conducting an active and open dialogue with citizens through
the Virtual reception of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and
the People’s reception centers in all regions of the country, which has
radically changed the interaction of state bodies with the population
and that has become an effective mechanism for addressing problems of
each person.
According to respondents, our country in
2017 reached a radically new stage of its socio-political and
socio-economic development. The new vision of state construction,
implementation of the program of real actions on the country’s renewal,
the Strategy of actions on five priority areas of development of the
Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021, forwarded by the Head of the state,
found support among all segments of the population in the country.
