As previously reported, on October 16-18 this year, China’s Qingdao city (Shandong province) was to hold 2020 SCO International Investment and Trade Expo.
But due to the detection of 12 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Qingdao, this major trade and investment fair has been canceled.
Local authorities have already ordered mass testing of the entire Qingdao population (9 million). The hospital with new cases has been closed. Chinese authorities urge citizens to refrain from non-urgent travel to Qingdao.
