Indian Council of Food and Agriculture is an apex think tank for addressing policy issues concerning farmers, food and agro-industries. ICFA serves as a global platform for trade facilitation, partnerships, technology, investments and agribusiness services.
Chairman of the Indian Council of Food and Agriculture Dr. MJ Khan made a proposal to expand cooperation in agriculture, promote information in India about the potential of this sector of Uzbekistan, increase imports of Uzbek agricultural products to India’s market.
Within the framework of cooperation in this direction, a delegation of the Council and correspondents of Agriculture Today magazine are expected to visit Uzbekistan to hold talks at the ministries of Agriculture, Innovative Development, farms and to prepare news about Uzbekistan.
The parties also discussed issues of participation of representatives of Uzbekistan in the international agro fair, to be held in November in Delhi.
