On January 14, 2019, at initiative of Pakistani side, in Joint Staff Headquarters of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, for the first time in their practice and in the history of bilateral relations, the national holiday of Uzbekistan – The Day of Defenders of the Motherland was solemnly celebrated.
A group of military personnel, law enforcement officers was awarded military ranks, orders and medals by the decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the occasion of Defenders of the Motherland Day and the 27th anniversary of formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
