TASHKENT, November 23. /“Dunyo” IA/. Oscar Committee of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting. It was decided to nominate the Uzbek film “2000 Songs of Farida” for the Oscar, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent with reference to UzA.
The film tells about the influence of political events in Turkestan at the beginning of the last century. The main character Kamil, who lives with three wives away from people, gets married for the fourth time. Conflicts associated with the arrival of a new woman in the family and the political situation in this region destroy the family.
The film was shot by Fox Music Cinema by the order of Uzbekkino National Agency.
Scriptwriter and Director is Yolkin Tuychiyev, cameraman – Bakhodir Yuldashev, production designer – Bektosh Rajabov, film director – Shavkat Rizayev. The film stars Bakhrom Matchonov, Yulduz Rajabova, Elmira Rakhimjanova, Marjona Uljayeva, Sanobar Khaknazarova, Nodira Khojikuliyeva and others.
The 93rd Academy Awards will take place on April 25, 2021 in Los Angeles at the famous Dolby Theater.
