Uzbekistan, Ukraine to ensure the growth of mutual trade up to $1 billion

TASHKENT, January 22. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Uzbekistan hosted a virtual workshop on the creation of joint Uzbekistan – Ukraine agricultural enterprises in Uzbekistan, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to CCI, the event was attended by the heads of the CCIs of the two countries, Gennadiy Chyzhykov and Adham Ikramov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine Mykola Doroshenko and Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Kurmanov, as well as representatives of relevant ministries and agencies.

At the workshop, the President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Gennadiy Chyzhykov delivered a speech and noted that the two countries interact well with each other.

Uzbekistan CCI Chairman Adham Ikramov noted that the proximity of the positions of the two countries on regional and international issues serves as the foundation for the development of bilateral ties. In this regard, Uzbekistan and Ukraine intend to intensify joint efforts to enhance and diversify mutual trade and ensure the growth of its volumes up to newscat="%" billion per year soon.

Presentations were made by representatives of responsible ministries and agencies in the agro-industrial sphere.
