Uzbekistan, India representatives discuss the creation of an Indian University’s branch in Bukhara

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in India organized virtual talks between representatives of the hokimiyat and higher education institutions of Bukhara region and the Integral University in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Director for Planning, Research and International Relations of the Integral University, Syed Nadeem Akhtar, expressed the intention of the university to establish close cooperation with Uzbekistan and open a school and university that will allow Uzbek youth to get secondary and higher education. Readiness was also confirmed to create, with the support of the regional administration, a separate department based on one of the existing education institutions in Bukhara in order to start the educational process in 2021/2022 academic year. He also emphasized that in the coming years, the university will begin practical work to create a school and a university.
 
In addition, he noted that in the educational institutions of the Integral University in Uzbekistan it will be possible to organize training courses in information technology, medicine, nursing, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, engineering, architecture, biology and science, as well as in other directions based on the recommendations of the Uzbek side.
