TASHKENT, November 20. /“Dunyo” IA/. On November 18, the opening ceremony of Expo-Russia Uzbekistan 2020 online exhibition has taken place, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the opening ceremony of the event was attended by Uzbekistan CCI Chairman Adham Ikramov, Deputy Minister of Energy Bekhzod Normatov, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Sergey Tsyb and Ambassador Vladimir Tyurdenev, as well as other senior officials.
CCI Chairman Adham Ikramov noted that Uzbekistan highly values the strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation with Russia. According to him, a regular dialogue at the highest level, full mutual understanding and trusting relations between the heads of the two states laid the foundation for this.
Sergey Tsyb drew attention to the relevance of the exhibition and emphasized that it had become an important platform for the Ministry of Industry and Trade, as it clearly demonstrates the best achievements of Russian mechanical engineering, high technologies, energy, transport, pharmaceuticals and other industries.
The Expo-Russia Uzbekistan 2020 will present the energy sector, mining, mechanical engineering, telecommunications, agriculture, food industry, science, education, information technologies, medicine and pharmaceuticals, petrochemical, automotive industries, transport services as well as consumer goods.
Each participant is provided with a digital stand with an individual design, reliable communication channels with visitors for virtual talks and direct negotiations, the opportunity to conduct a video presentation, webinar or online presence at any of the roundtable discussions.
The exhibition will last until December 18.
