Resolution of the Government has been adopted “On measures to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Turkey and expand multifaceted cooperation”.
A program of measures to bring Uzbekistan – Turkey relations to a qualitatively new level has been approved be the resolution. Coordination Council to expand multifaceted cooperation with Turkey has been created.
The Coordination Council analyzes the implementation of the program of measures and provides practical assistance in implementation of projects.
According to the document, it is also envisaged to open a Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Samarkand by the end of 2020.
