Uzbekistan’s Ambassador presents the Japanese Film Director Kiyoshi Kurosawa with “Turizm Fidoyisi” badge

TOKYO, December 2. /“Dunyo” IA/. Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan, together with the administration of Suginami district of Tokyo, organized a solemn ceremony to present the famous Japanese film director, screenwriter and writer Kiyoshi Kurosawa with “Turizm Fidoyisi” badge and certificate, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

“Turizm Fidoyisi” badge is awarded to citizens of Uzbekistan and foreign countries who have made a worthy contribution to the development and popularization of the tourism industry of the country.

At the ceremony, it was noted that Kiyoshi Kurosawa is the author of numerous wonderful films, including “To the Ends of the Earth”, dedicated to Uzbekistan.

It was emphasized that this feature film made it possible to better acquaint the Japanese public with Uzbekistan and thereby contributed to an increase in the number of tourists visiting Uzbekistan.

Kiyoshi Kurosawa sincerely thanked the Uzbek side for conferring such a high award, recognition of his activities in art, and noted that this is a great honor for him. He also emphasized that he always recalls with special warmth his visits to Uzbekistan, which is famous for its rich culture, wonderful architectural monuments and delicious national dishes.
