TASHKENT, June 14. /“Dunyo” IA/. On June 23-24, the city of Kokand will host the Sixth Meeting of the Turkic Council Tourism Ministers, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
Secretary General of Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev, Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Mehmet Ersoy, Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan Aktoty Raimkulova, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Economy and Finance of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan Fuad Nagiyev have confirmed their participation in the event.
The participants of the meeting will discuss the issues of restoring the tourism sector after the pandemic, in particular the resumption of international flights between major cities of the member states, as well as the implementation of the Pilgrimage Tourism project.
The participants will get acquainted with promising projects in the tourism sector, namely, the possibilities of pilgrimage tourism, ecotourism, handicraft production and the gastronomic potential of Fergana region.
