TOKYO, September 24. /“Dunyo” IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan organized a videoconference with the leadership of the Japanese companies Kitakyushukogyo Co. Ltd and Nippon Investment Operating Corporation (NIOC), reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The Japanese companies expressed their readiness to implement a pilot project for the integrated engineering protection of infrastructure facilities, hazardous mountain areas, as well as mudflow hazardous areas in Zaamin Tourist Zone.
Issues of long-term plans for the creation of production of metal mesh and gabions from rockfalls, landslides, mudflows, avalanches, protection of river beds on the territory of the country were discussed.
An agreement was reached to continue the dialogue for a detailed discussion of the project under consideration, as well as holding in the near future a meeting with representatives of Hokimiyat and the territorial unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Zaamin district of Jizzakh region.
