JAKARTA, April 21. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the city of Jakarta hosted a meeting with the heads and representatives of 20 major travel agencies of Indonesia, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
At the meeting, a presentation of Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, in particular in the pilgrimage direction, was held.
Issues of resuming the tourist flow between Uzbekistan and Indonesia were discussed. Indonesian travel agencies were informed about the tourism project “Uzbekistan. Safe Travel Guaranteed”.
Representatives of travel agencies inquired about the possibility of resuming the implementation of travel packages through ziyorat-tourism to Uzbekistan. Taking into account the existing interest, as well as the lack of restrictive measures for Indonesian tourists (except for the PCR test), the travel agencies announced the resumption of the implementation of tourist routes from Indonesia to Uzbekistan.
