The 57th Meeting of Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification

The event was attended by representatives of national bodies for standardization, metrology, conformity assessment and accreditation of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of CIS Executive Committee and Bureau of Standards.

 

Views were exchanged on preservation and development of international standards, maintaining a coordinated policy of technical regulation, taking into account economic interests of parties while setting sustainable goals, creating facilities for training young specialists and forming a personnel reserve, widely implementing information technologies, expanding scientific and practical cooperation, improving the legal framework for regulating relations based on international requirements.

 

A number of tasks were defined to improve activities within the framework of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification and a joint statement was signed.
