A webinar with participation of potential exhibitors from various countries has been held within the framework of preparation for the 5th International Congress and Exhibition “Hydropower. Central Asia and the Caspian”.
The congress will be held in Tashkent on February 17-18, 2021.
The event will be attended by representatives of the Central Asian and Caspian regions – Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan.
At the webinar, participants received information about the preparation process for the upcoming event, reforming the country’s hydropower industry, new promising projects.
Projects successfully implemented in hydropower were noted, including the construction of small hydroelectric power plants “Qamchiq”, “Zarchob” HPP-1, commissioning of a new large hydroelectric power station “Mullalak”.
The 5th International Congress and Exhibition “Hydropower. Central Asia and the Caspian” should become an effective platform for the exchange of views, fruitful cooperation and dialogue on development of the energy sector in the region’s countries, construction and modernization of energy facilities.
