The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan organized a videoconference between Uzbekistan and Japanese health professionals on the fight against coronavirus.
The participants discussed the current epidemiological situation in the two countries, exchanged information and experience in combating coronavirus infection, carrying out treatment and preventive measures. Particular attention was paid to measures for the rehabilitation of infected patients.
The Japanese side provided detailed information on the first and second waves of coronavirus in the country, as well as the evolution of changes in virus strains.
In turn, Uzbekistan specialists spoke about the measures taken by the Government of Uzbekistan to protect the health of the population and effectively treat patients with coronavirus infection.
During the event, the participants shared information with each other about effective ways to treat and prevent the coronavirus pandemic.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue practical contacts between specialists and to organize the next joint videoconference in the near future.
