Transport Ministers of SCO Member States discuss digital cooperation issues

According to the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, the country's delegation was headed by Deputy Minister Davron Dehkanov.

 

The parties discussed the prospects for development of cooperation and issues of widespread introduction of modern digital technologies into the sphere. The parties also exchanged views on the coordination of work within the framework of the program of multilateral trade-economic cooperation in transport and logistics.

 

“Cooperation between the SCO member states in transport has great potential, the implementation of which will undoubtedly contribute to the sustainable development and strengthening multilateral trade and economic ties”, Davron Dehkanov noted.

 

Delegations of the SCO member states also exchanged views on ensuring the sustainable operation of transport networks in the event of emergencies, in particular the spread of the coronavirus epidemic, as well as development of the industry in the post-pandemic period.
