THE PRESIDENT SETS DIRECTIONS FOR TOURISM DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION OF “ECO-CITY” IN CHARTAK

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev became familiar with Chortoq Resorts Health Improvement Center, which is being built in Chartak district.

Large-scale activity is carried out in Uzbekistan to fully utilize the capabilities of regions and industries, attract investment and create new jobs.

 Modern complex Chortoq Resorts with an area of more than 15 hectares is being built in the hilly terrain at the expense of local entrepreneurs and foreign investors for the total amount of 25 million USD.

 This will create additional opportunities for development of medical and ecological tourism in the region.

 The sanatorium will offer therapeutic procedures using mineral water rich in iodine, bromine, radon and other elements that are useful for musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular and nervous systems, and endocrinological and dermatological diseases.

 The sanatorium for 230 beds will provide employment for 250 people.

 It is planned to attract highly qualified physicians, organize medical examinations with participation of specialists from Germany.

 Construction of medical and dormitory buildings, cottages for vacationers with families, a hotel has been completed. Solar panels are installed to illuminate the territory of the sanatorium.

 Hippotherapy will also be established in the complex, for which stables, open and closed arenas are built. This type of therapy is useful in treating diseases of limbs and pelvis narrowness.

 In order to efficiently use the water flowing alongside the sai, four reservoirs were built for raising fish. Conditions for fishing and recreation will be created here along with cultivation of fish for the sanatorium.
