The First Meeting of the Coordinating Council for Development of Legal Sciences

TASHKENT, January 20. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, Uzbekistan hosted the First Meeting of the Coordinating Council for Development of Legal Sciences, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent with reference to the Press Service of the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences.

The development of legal education and science in Uzbekistan is one of the key factors in ensuring the effectiveness of cardinal socio-economic and political-legal reforms that determine its prospects.

The event was organized by the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.

It was attended by more than 70 legal experts, including the Chairman of the Coordinating Council A. Saidov, Director of the Institute of State and Law A. Tulyaganov, and other well-known scholars, practitioners from all over the country.

The primary tasks that need to be addressed, including improving the level of academic legal research in the country, achieving a new quality of effective legal research to determine the prospects for ongoing socio-economic and political-legal reforms were discussed at the meeting. Issues of effective cooperation between scientific and educational institutions, further improving the quality of scientific dissertations, and broad media coverage of the results of scientific legal research was also considered in detail.
