Meeting of the Prosecutors General of the SCO Member States

The 18th virtual meeting of the Prosecutors General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States took place on October 20.

The meeting was chaired by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigmatulla Yuldashev.
 
The event was also attended by representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Offices of the Member States, SCO observer states and dialogue partners, as well as SCO Secretary-General Vladimir Norov, Director of the Executive Committee of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS) Jumakhon Giyosov and President of the International Association of Prosecutors Cheol-kyu Hwang.
 
At the meeting, experience and effective anti-corruption mechanisms were exchanged. The existing problems in this sphere were constructively discussed, priority measures were identified to consolidate actions for their joint solution.
 
Participants of the meeting emphasized that joint efforts and initiatives of the Prosecutor General’s Offices on a wide range of issues in various spheres of interaction contribute to the enhancement of the image and further growth of the global profile of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the international arena.
 
The meeting was held in a spirit of complete mutual understanding and in a friendly atmosphere.
 
The Final Protocol of the meeting reflects the relevant decisions on the main themes of this meeting, as well as conduction of the 19th meeting of the Prosecutor Generals of the SCO Member States in 2021 in the Republic of India.
